So obviously, Tassita likes the quiet.

Killerwatt says he doesn’t. His job is usually quiet, but not a nice kind. A sort of like…paranoid, uncertain quiet. Very on edge and responding to every tiny sound that breaks the silence.

Sooo my boy finally gets a day off since Electra is spending the day with Porter and decides to try and find some friends in the yard. The other ponies managed to - Joule and Slick go misbehaving, Wrench says her and Dinah are ‘just friends’ (they’re more.), and Volta tends to hang out with the coaches. KW doesn’t think the coach shed would really be his scene, but he tags along anyway.

It’s chaos. Belle is asleep on a chair. Dinah, Pearl and Volta are watching some reality TV and they keep squealing. So KW excuses himself to take a minute.

He steps outside and he’s a little bummed out. He doesn’t really fit in with any of the groups. He’s not an engine, he’s not chaotic like Joule and the freights, and he’s not eccentric like a coach so he decides to leave.

Tassita calls to him from his bedroom window and invites him upstairs, where it’s quiet. a new kind of quiet. A nice kind.

And yes they bond from there and Tass becomes KW’s go to on a day off where they either just lay together in silence or complain about other people
