as an American who worked in a UK McDonalds it’s very important that the Americans know the following things about when I worked there during my time in grad school (2018-2019)

- They have banana milkshakes

- their milkshake machines do work

- they did have the 99 cent cone, with a flake was extra (a flake was a type of chocolate candy that they’d stick in)

- they also have frozen strawberry lemonade that slaps SO HARD that they don’t have here and every day I’m so mad about it

- there’s also a mango pineapple smoothie thing that I never tried because I was too in love with the frozen strawberry lemonade

- the fryers make a very loud and distinctive beeping sound that they don’t here

- they did not have the McRib when I worked there, much to the dismay of two Italian tourists that came to our store one time

- they don’t have creamer or half and half for coffee, much to the dismay of a Canadian tourist that came to our store at 6am once (I worked at a 24 hour McDonald’s)

- when I worked there, it was during a time of like American inspired burger specials? So there was the Nashville, the Louisville, the Alabama…I wanna say the Arkansas???
