Food 4 Thought X Aged Hip Hop X QuickSaand
Sitting in my studio listening to Miles Bonny, relaxing and thinking I wondered... Would you jam a 50 year old rapper?
First thought, “if he/she is spittinʼ Iʼm gonna listen!” However, Iʼm one of those thirty somethings that grew up on a genre that normally pushes aside itʼs wiseguys for newer, more brash hit-men. But itʼs interesting to watch the teenagers attempt to put their parents onto a newer form of Hip Hop, something their parents can only recognize because of the drum kicks and snares that snap so lovely.
Which again begs the question....would you jam a 50 year old rapper?
