THE PLAN
Now armed with my Windows 7 emachine (with no connection to the internet), Kiwix, Microsoft Office from the 2000s, an aesthetic wallpaper, a CD cover maker, and a dream, I shall embark once again on my writing journey, just as I had as a child—internetless and without AI lurking in the corners. All I have is the ZIM files of a dictionary, Wikipedia, CSS, and hope.
Me: I occasionally give into temptation and gaze into the abyss. Abyss: *Filled with random head-canons and procrastination* You should really write more. Me: shhhhh. I gaze into the abyss.
It's funny how you can go from writing consistently, posting regularly and Habitica streak going strong to basically ghosting your creative projects for over 2 months. So many projects and personal habits will be restarted this month.
Glances over at AO3 account: Just give me a few more days
Recently managed to get my tech beginner paws on both an emachine and a Asus Eee Pc.
I shall summon all my tech knowledge to get my pcs working and in the early 2000s aesthetic. Hoping the nostalgia will help motivate me.

Sometimes I look at my work and see only its imperfections—the lopsided structure, the phrases that would give a reader pause. The frustration builds until it screams at me to erase everything, yet my finger always hesitates over that confirmation button.
Because as imperfect as it is, this writing is mine. So I click "cancel," take a step back, and grant myself a break. I eat a sandwich and lose myself in the works that first made me want to write.
This is why I commit to writing a little every day, especially when I feel "less than." For it is in those precise moments that the act of writing becomes not just a practice, but a necessity for growth.
I love that fanfiction and writing in general is so freeing and wonderful. Anything is possible simply because we will it into fictional existence. Write what you want to write, take the leap. Case in point:
I was once challenged to write a fanfiction for a Justin Bieber Vampire AU—wherein Justin was not a vampire or the MC, he was just a normal person who was repeatedly mentioned—and I never fully understood why.
I just hope the girl I wrote it for treasured the notebook I wrote it in and then burned it when she hit 18. (I had a lot of spelling errors)
Me: Well who's ready to be tested? Mc: I love tests!!! Me: I don't think you understand the context of my question- but that's the spirit. *proceeds to provide all the tests, trials and tribulations* mc:
