I actually like Quibble Pants a lot, however he's definitely not a pony thats desgined to be used outside of his introduction episode. Now his character works just fine, but his appearance doesn’t. Like he's clearly desgined to be in Daring Do cosplay which is fitting for the episode, but once we see him outside of a convention he still has the Daring Do mane. However, if they gave him an actual mane color underneath that then he wouldn't be recognizable anymore. So it was damned if you don't, damned if you do.
