I gotta know something. I feel like the entire ONLINE fanbase (not talking about 40 year olds who grew up with it although if you see this you’re welcome to answer) for Mega Man is like uhhh very queer. I feel like the reasons for this is because of the questions about autonomy and things like how robots don’t really have a specific gender but are assigned gender roles and how that could play out. This is for Classic, X, Zero, whatever other spin-offs and all that. (Famous trans YouTuber GameChamp3000’s avatar is Tron Bonne from Legends). When I say online fanbase I mean people making AO3 fics or rambling here on Tumblr. Just like having some sort of online and fan content presence. I haven’t read the comics yet I might do that if I can *ahem* acquire them but I see the vision with ya’lls ProtoQuake art. But again, I’m talking straight ships that aren’t actually straight cuz *nuance* like (Sonic tangent) Shadouge is my favorite Sonic ship but I headcanon Shadow as agender. But there’s not a lot of genuine straight ships in the series I feel like, I guess X/Alia but yeah.
