HfHR Named 2026 NYC Community Project Grant Winner for Intercultural Solidarity in Queens
Project Grants by the Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes (OPHC) and the NYC Commission on Human Rights (CCHR), receiving up to $10,000.
Its project, Eid / Holi / Vaisakhi for Intercultural Solidarity, will bring Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, and allied communities together through youth roundtables and public celebrations to counter hate, bias, caste oppression, and polarization in Queens.
