Rise & Grind Love Birds 🕊 Wanted to take some time and show off my scars progression in healing. Quick recap, I had a benign tumor that sat on top of my rib cage and under my skin. Had it removed & the incision got infected. Later opened up and the process went downhill from there. (There’s a full post about it earlier in my feed) Here we are almost 2 years post surgery and now I’m working on evening the colour of my skin. Healing takes time and I’ve grown more comfortable with having a scar as a part of my image. Oddly enough, a part of me is starting to like it.
