Alright tonight's dinner is extra AF. a local meat and cheese producer is struggling because they usually sell to resturants so they were offering free delivery to your house, no contact, everything double bagged etc.
So we ordered some stuff and along with other pantry stuff we had like jalepeno jelly, sundries tomatoes, olives, canned dolmas, gluten free crackers etc hubbs made a beautiful charticurie board. We sat and had a nice night. I even put on real clothes and a bra. š

Alright some of you are interested in what I'm eating during 3 weeks of semi quarantine. I'll tag it #quarantinekitchen if that's not your thing.
Here's a list of what my husband and I stocked up on given we're both off work for 3 weeks and trying to limit exposure.
We already have a bunch of frozen meat, spices etc
1 bag Gluten free oats
2 bags dried chickpeas
1 bag dried navy beans
1 bag dried mixed chilli beans
1 bag orange lentils
1 bag brown lentils
1 bag of quinoa
5lbs basmati rice
6 boxes gluten free pasta (I have celiac)
3 packags of rice noodles
8 cans of tomatoes
Frozen mixed veg
Frozen spinach
Frozen corn
Frozen premade falafel
Frozen berries
Potaotes
Broccoli
Cauliflower
Cabbage
Milk (we buy it in bags so we can freeze)
Cream
Hard Cheese like parm and old cheddar
2 dozen Eggs (Kyle doesn't like eggs otherwise we would have got more)
Peanut butter
Bread and gluten free bread
I think that's about it š

Sorry for the awful picture my phone sucks. Anyway hubs made dinner. Rice, Lebanese beef and coleslaw. The beef was marinated in lemon juice, Olive oil, sumac, Cinnamon all spice slat and pepper and cooked in a frying pan with the maranade so there was a sauce to pour over rice. The slaw was cabbage, sumac, salt, pepper, apple cider vinegar and Olive oil. It was yummy. I'd been craving salad so a slaw was nice and fresh.
Gah our water was still off when we were making dinner (they just turned it on) so we had to get creative. We had a tube of premade polenta in the cupboard so we baked it with tomato sauce and cheese on it and some herb crusted chicken thighs. Sorry for thr bad pic I was so hungry š.
Welp. One week of quarantine down. Today they shut down all nonessential businesses and it looks like a full lockdown is imminent. It's all very overwhelming and awful. But we'll get through it.
