Matter is non-existent. Imagine a vessel in a vacuum und put water in it. The movement and resulting whirls are force and the empty space inside the whirls that's what we call matter. There is no problem combining matter and force in a picture, because there is no matter at all, just dynamics and movements colliding. No more looking for the smallest particle, and Heisenberg can rest well along with most weird looking quantum theories.
