huan hua!shen yuan au au where shen yuan grows up with yue qi and shen jiu as slave kids but gets separated from them early on. shen yuan almost dies but is saved by su xiyan and joins huan hua as a disciple. shen yuan gets really into maze arrays and formations. so much so that he begins neglecting his other classes.

to solve this, shen yuan's shizun decides to send him to cang qiong for a year, hoping it'll help brush up his calligraphy and guqin skills. it's there he reunites with shen jiu and yue qi and realizes oh shit they're the future scum villain and sect leader. qijiu reconciliation happens before shen yuan returns back to huan hua.

back at huan hua, he gets involved with tianxi and rescues su xiyan from the water prison. but she forces shen yuan to go warn tianlang-jun about the ambush. shen yuan rushes to bailu mountain and is caught working together with zhuzhi-lang and tianlang-jun just before tianlang-jun gets pancaked. so now shen yuan is on the run with zhuzhi-lang and both are trying to free tianlang-jun and find the infant luo binghe.

meanwhile qijiu is freaking out over shen yuan going on the run and wants to get their hands on him before huan hua does.

(i might end up writing a more detailed ramble for this au later if im not lazy bc i have thoughts about this au)

courtesan!shen yuan au

idk where im going with this one since there's already a decent amount of courtesan!shen yuan aus but i thought it'd be really funny if this is from the perspective of the other peak lords. basically, the peak lords watch as qijiu suddenly make up and get together after going to this brothel. yue qi and shen jiu continue to go this brothel together and the other peak lords think they just want privacy for more intimate times.

when they become peak lords, qijiu starts setting aside a large sum of money and even built extra spaces in their house, almost like they're about to accommodate a third person. the peak lords think they're going to have a kid.

but during this time, yue qingyuan and shen qingqiu still continue going to this brothel but separately and sometimes with gifts even. the peak lords think they're cheating on each other but how can they cheat on each other when both of them knows about this brothel???

until one day they disappear for a day and bring back a courtesan name shen yuan lol

ghost au  xiang fei drags shen yuan to go ghost hunting in this spooky mountain temple and they run into two ghosts called shen qingqiu and yue qingyuan. shen qingqiu and yue qingyuan end up following and haunting shen yuan because he looks like their long lost lover who died before them a really long time ago.

shen yuan even shares the same name as this long lost lover, causing yue qingyuan and shen qingqiu to think he is their lover’s reincarnation. this au is a bit crack-ish but ghost!qijiu probably ends up atticwifing shen yuan

(but surprise plot twist, shen yuan gains his past life’s memories back and ends up being the one atticwifing shen qingqiu and yue qingyuan bc they're ghosts and he doesn’t want to lose them again lol)

coffee shop au modern au where yue qi works as a barista at a coffee shop and a customer whose personality switches between friendly and grumpy comes to order the same two drinks everyday.

yue qi thinks this customer is just grumpy during days when he’s wearing suits and more cleaner silhouette outfits bc the customer has to go to work. the customer is much more polite during days when he’s wearing glasses and casual clothing, though still snarky when he rants about a web novel he's currently reading. yue qi begins crushing on this mysterious customer.

until one day when two people with almost similar faces enter, one wearing a suit while the other is wearing a hoodie. yue qi learns they’re named shen jiu and shen yuan respectively, and despite their similar appearances and shared surname, aren’t biologically related and are dating. jiuyuan has been taking turns buying drinks for each other and also not so secretly eyeing this barista.

fuck or die fic fic where shen yuan is shen qingqiu’s shidi and one of qing jing peak’s hallmaster. its well known yue qingyuan and shen qingqiu are happily married bc when they were disciples, shen yuan received a mission from the system to help yue qi rescue shen jiu in order to give pidw a happier ending, causing shen jiu to escape the qius early. 

so one day shen yuan is sent on a night hunt with yue qingyuan and they run into a fuck or die plant and yueyuan dual cultivates. shen yuan feels really guilty for forcing yue qingyuan to cheat on shen qingqiu bc he was the one who caused them to get poisoned. he thinks shen qingqiu is going to kill him when they get back to the sect.

imagine his shock when shen qingqiu orders shen yuan to take responsibility by marrying them instead of killing him
