To be honest.. Not really. Physically, I don’t feel much different. I fight as I usually do. But I may see the results, my water-infused attacks seem stronger when the stone activates and I am able to beat stronger enemies easier than I used to on my own.

Perhaps my movement feels a bit lighter and smoother? It’s quite a faint feeling, I must really focus on the feeling— Which I find little use in. The secret stone amplifies the wielder’s power, simple but effective.

Besides the physical aspect— Wielding it is a completely different matter. King Rauru entrusted these stones to us, and declared us sages in order to defeat the demon king. Such a responsibility is one I take seriously, and with it, I feel a stronger resolve to not fail my allies in battle.

…Ah. Lady Zelda… She spoke of me a lot..? That’s… No matter… Pardon me, the name simply saddens me.. Ahem, King Rauru and Queen Sonia..

I did not know much of Queen Sonia, only that she was the previous Sage of Time. I never met her personally— But from what I’ve heard, she was a lovely and strong woman. Many cherished her, and I’m sure she earned every bit of respect that people had for her.

I would’ve liked to meet her, but that’s all I can say on her unfortunately.

As for King Rauru, he too, has my respect. His strength and resolve are admirable. He was a wonderful king, kind and honorable. I trusted him greatly— As he trusted me in return. I was quick to like him, he was loyal and wise, it brought me the want to not let him down.

Truly, I was honoured to have fought by his side. He was too hard on himself, he worked to defend his people and died for them. He deserved better, but that is the weight of responsibility as king.

He was one of the greatest men I have ever met.

May their sacrifices be not in vain in the future to come.

Yes, it is true. I had trained regularly since the moment I learned how to swim in deeper waters.

When I was young, I would often swim to the deepest parts of any bodies of water, and try to race schools of fish I could find as long as I could. Or I would simply enjoy myself by trying to swim fast enough in circles to make little whirlpools,

I spent a lot of time playing in water back then, it made me happy to have something to do with my excessive energy as a child.

Now, I hone my swimming skills by hunting fish. There’s also Cadlan. He challenges me to swimming races, it’s not very often however. I am very happy when he does though. It keeps our skills sharp, as it allows me to indulge in some thrilling fun while pushing our limits.

And I must admit, he’s impressive each time! He almost beats me— His improvement is admirable! Perhaps I should ask him to have another race to see how he’s progressed one of these days.
