Prompt For Quarantined Frans Week: Day 6 (Pain)

So um Q!Frans day 1 and 2 :D????

I rushed it and im losing ideas and inspiration pls help

Frisk p.o.v

He's late, again... Sans and I have been dating for months, and I love him. However, I don't know if the feelings are mutual. He's done this every time, and lately, he seems uninterested. I'm sad...

"Hey, Frisk... Still waiting for Sans?" Grillby waits with me whenever Sans doesn't show up after fifteen minutes. This is the fifth time he's done it in the past month. It's also the longest I've had to wait.

Another ten minutes go by...

fifteen...

five...

"I think I'm going to go home... Thanks for keeping me company, Grillbz. Tell Sans when he gets here?" He nods his head solemnly.

Sans p.o.v

I was watching some television, waiting for Frisk to get here (she came over regularly), when I received a phone call.

"hello?"

"Sans, you've really done it now..." The disappointment in Grillby's voice made me worry a little.

"look, grillbz. I'll pay my tab tomorrow." I slightly chuckled, feeling guilty for not doing so earlier.

"Your girlfriend just left my building almost in tears. I don't care about the stupid tab." Was I missing something?

"why was she crying?" Frisk wasn't one to cry. Whatever happened must've been really bad.

"Sans, you idiot! You didn't show up for your date. She was waiting for over an hour."

"i did what now?" I'm such a horrible boyfriend. God, she must hate me now.

"Do you really want me to repeat it?"

"no. thanks, grillbz. i'll talk to you later. first, i need to repair what's left of my relationship." I could hear him laugh on the other end.

"Good luck. You're probably going to need it." I hung up.

"paps, I'm going to frisk's, i'll see you later!" I just didn't want him to freak out.

"knock, knock..." This usually worked to make her feel slightly better.

"What do you need Sans?" She didn't sound particularly upset, but I could hear sniffling come from the door.

"come on, that's not how you do the joke." I could almost feel the eye roll.

"Come in." The door clicked open, and I saw Frisk hugging a pillow close to her chest.

"hey, i'm sorry for what i did. i completely spaced our date, i've been avoiding you, i'm sure you don't think i actually love you, and overall, i've been the worst boyfriend when it comes to emotional anything." She shook her head and looked at me.

"It's fine... This wasn't the first time, and it might not be the last. Anyway, why have you been avoiding me?"

"might?" She sighed and looked away.

"I asked you first..."

"i'm scared that i'm going to mess up and lose you. i don't want that." She gave me an incredulous look.

"right... not being with you is messing up... your turn"

"I was thinking about breaking up with you..." I could feel my world start to crumble.

"However, I'm willing to give you time and a second chance, but no more being late, no more avoiding me, and no more keeping your feelings from me. The next time you leave me waiting for over an hour, we're not only done, but you get an early grave. Got it?" If the circumstances were different I'd probably be scared of that threat, but I'm just happy she isn't leaving.

"understood. never again. i promise." She looked taken aback; I never made promises.

"I love you, Sans. Now, want to watch some movies?"

"of course."
