Aka time for the sequel to Puzzlebox.

Resigning himself to finding his other half, Yugi picked a staircase to climb. They'd found a door in the hallway and for a brief second, they'd believed it to house some of Yami's memories. It hadn't – it'd housed a part of the Spirit of the Ring instead.

Yugi shuddered, reaching out for Yami. He really would rather be kissing him.

He absently kicked a small stone on the stair, watching it fly off the staircase and hit a platform below. Yugi frowned. It'd felt second nature, kicking the stone, but this part of the Puzzle was usually smooth stone. Where would rubble come from?

He trailed his gaze up the staircase, eyes landing on a large split in stairs. Yugi ran to it, dropping to his knees to touch the gash in the stone. ::Yami?::

Had a soul taken by the Seal been out and about when Yugi locked away that part of the Puzzle? Had one found their way in here, running around causing damage? Had Yami's lackluster answers not been distraction, but a result of an injury? Slashes to his soul room causing damage to his memory?

Yugi picked up a stone bit and held it to his chest. "Yami!" he yelled, echoing the scream in his head. He took a step forward -
