Me squinting because I know my dad, because I am my dad: Sure....the good dr cox and beastie are going to the basement to paint dioramas, I’m going to go get groceries with mom.

My dad WHO IS 73 WITH TWO HIP REPLACEMENTS: Awesome, I’ll do a little puttering in your garden.

Puttering apparently = pulling all the dead limbs off the backyard tree, and using a ladder and rope to remove the 20 foot limb off our front tree that was overhanging our neighbour’s garage.

I just rearranged my kitchen cabinets for the second time in... 2020? maybe? i did it quite recently, is what i’m saying. anyway. things are starting to feel more cohesive, plus there’s a dedicated snack cabinet now. :)

#I've been feeling particularly nervous this week #due to my period and people being annoying #most importantly I'm having issues with a long time friend who lately has been a pain in the ass #and I'm so sorry to say it since we went through some difficult moments together so this is upsetting me a lot #oh and yeah also stupid shows that break your heart but that's less important #and this was my way to shut everything out for an hour or so - it has been more relaxing than I thought #and I'm using every word I have at my disposal to practise so I got to try also usernames #still a bit meh about the results - it seems I'm not very consistent with the width of certain letters #(I especially hate the 's' and the t' - I'm having such a hard time making them right) and the grade #but whatever it's all for fun - I just love the feeling of calligraphic nibs writing #also yeah there are quite some cats in this picture - actually I think there are more cats in my house than at the colosseum XD #and none of them is real sadly - hopefully one day #goose at the left is watching my work intently - or she is just so annoyed by it that at some point she might just swallow it XD #calligraphy #italic #puttering #my calligraphy
