OK, So a few little details of the Balan Enchanted AU
•Balan and Lance's powers still WORK in the real world, however that gets them into trouble
• The characters were brought to the real world in various ways, but they don't exactly remember what they were
•The Longer that the Characters stay in our world, the more that Wonderworld and our world start to collide
•The Inhabitants can summon out their Negabosses when they need to, but the Negabosses are all in human disguises
(If anyone had any ideas that they have, I would like to hear, I might just make it canon!)

People who turn into negati bosses aren’t in control of themselves as far as I know. And if you ask me, it’s not so much a fight as it is restoration.
Novel spoilers ahead
As mentioned in the book, the only way to free them from their negative outburst is to find two pieces of their heart and fling them at the mark where Lance infected them. Words alone don’t work with negati, so I think it would be pointless to talk to a negati boss. Plus, I don’t think the inhabitants would feel pain after the fight. They just feel bad for trying to hurt the other.
But I will say this. If Cass’s supposed big sibling were to come and see her like that, they’d definitely use words first in order to try and make her snap out of it. But words alone don’t always fix a problem. Sometimes actions speak louder than words. Once it was all over though, I think then comes the big speech. They’d say, “I don’t want you to think it’s your fault. I know you feel bad about your cat, and I feel bad too. I know how much you want to rewind the clock. But as much as we want to, we can’t. Time just moves forward. And although it will hurt for a long time, I know you and I can move past this. I’m always here for you.”
And of course, Cass’s older sibling would be ticked with Lance for turning into a monster. Yelling things at him and even asking for a fight. But Lance wouldn’t give them the luxury of fighting them right then and there. He’ll face them when the time comes.
