CRK AU - Ancients, Beasts, And Everyone In Between
Following the Dark Enchantress War and the timeline crisis, the Ancients and Beasts have reconciled. The Beasts have been allowed their freedom, so long as they attempt to reconcile with their original virtues. However, with the shadows of their pasts looming over them, they all find that immensely difficult. Returning to a virtue that caused them immense pain seems impossible, and begin to fall victim to hopelessness and despair, even while encouraged and supported by their partners and/or other half.
It seems they may have failed their mission, until Time Keeper Cookie sits down to have a discussion with Shadow Milk Cookie...

I've been thinking about a CRK AU for a while now... It started with an OCxCanon ship and quickly evolved into a mammoth, all-of-Earthbread type of deal. It's not just about one family anymore, but about rehabilitated Beasts, the pressure on their children, the weight felt by the children of the ancients, familial tension and bonds forged by fate.
What started off as my OC supporting Pure Vanilla through the current storyline has now become something a lot bigger. I want to take a look at the Beasts trying to heal and their new paths in the cookie world. I want to look at the relationships between the kids in the new generation. And as for Sugar Maple and Pure Vanilla... I want to share their story. How they came to be together after everything, how their eldest daughter fears watching her father fall victim to forces of darkness still inhabiting the cookie world, and how their family has become intertwined with the families of all the other ancient and beast cookies, as well as their friends and allies across Earthbread.
There's a lot going on. A lot of focus on Sugar Maple and Pure Vanilla at the start, but also quite a bit of Shadow Milk and his partner before the Beasts were sealed. A bit from before, a bit during the core story, and a lot for the future of their lives.
