#puppy progress

Between fetch throws, I offer the toy back to Gwyn and say "Want me throw? Or Gwyn can have." Thing is, I wasn't sure she was capable of anything except "FOR THE LOVE OF DOG THROW IT AGAIN" (so I have to decide when to stop, every time).

But on Saturday, Gwyn took her disc back! She did, she wanted to play with the toy and not chase it again! I'm so proud of her, that's a huge accomplishment for my little girl. She called an end to the fetch all by herself, because she was done and wanted different play. Wow.

Tristan had a *very* unpleasant 4th of July weekend his first summer with us (he was outside when lightning struck a neighbor's tree), since which time he hasn't much cared for boom from the sky. I'm very proud of him, though. This year he has *mostly* gotten a grip on his Tiny Wrath.

Guinevere is getting downright feathery.

I asked Gwyn to please not eat her jacket. Lethal side-eye.

For several months, Guinevere has been shredding toys or cardboard at bedtime every night. It was like she was too sleepy to realize she could go to sleep, and being toddler-destructive in her frustration.

She accomplished TWO difficult tasks. Good job, baby, making progress.
