Serbian Defense Corps. The SDK were an Axis controlled up army set up by the Germans to be the ‘legal’ government of the rump Yugoslavian state after the Royal Govt fell in 1941. They were pro-Chetnik and the Germans had to disband and reestablish the army several times to ensure pro-Axis cooperation. They were one of the most brutal of the Axis puppets.
