I was studying for my Intro to Environmental Engineering exam tomorrow and got distracted. Not sure if this is good but it felt very stem/dark academic.
Midterms.
Chaotic academia mood.
My newest and most punk academic ring I have ever bought! It was a bit pricy given the ~times~ but I got it as a birthday gift to myself for making it through this year. I am obsessed with the stone and ferns! Not to mention it's weight. It's 13 grams! Imagine throwing a punch. Plus, since it's so dense in my hand and has alot of variety in textures, it definitely will be fun to fidget with in class when I'm trying not to daydream into space.
It is so feminine and masculine in the perfect way for me. And with the fern detail, I couldn't help doing a little photoshoot.
Unrelated, but I am about halfway with the Goldfinch. I am so amazed by how much I can empathize with Theo. Both of my parents died in shitty ways for shitty reasons. I also grew up with just as little parental care and I had so many eerily similar situations. I am so sucked in, like how did I just hear about this novel?? I am definitely going to finish it this weekend.
