I got my first ever hate comments on my fic! They were clearly all left by the same person using different guest names (not using your ao3 account to harass an author- COWARD (but I suppose all haters are inherently cowards)) This person also waited until CHAPTER 32 to spew their filth, which is just fucking wild to me. Not dnf'ing is not the flex some people think it is.
But others in the comments came to my defense and pointed out how they were being ridiculous, and to encourage me, which was wonderful. The hate comments were deleted of course, (I don't need that shit in my story, thank you) but as they were guest comments I unfortunately cannot block them, so they may strike again, assuming they're not chastised by the other commenters. We'll see. If they spam again I'll just delete them again.
