like i keep seeing on pinterest and insta people arguing about whether PPL is better than ULPPL or whether u should RLLY be doing full body split or upper/lower or whatever. and it’s like, i understand WHY this is an argument but seriously there’s nothing more discouraging than being a beginner and continuously seeing people argue about such things as if they’re a necessity in order to be healthy or athletic

There is a game that makes your brain truly go crazy, the Italian card game Machiavelli! It is played with French/Poker cards and takes the name from a VERY important author... and I am only going to say that if you know the author, you'll find the name very fitting.

Here's the basic rules

Like every card game or myth you have more than one version but every single one of them is evil. The thing that makes this game so evil to me is that you can't use a jolly(except some versions, but I don't like those) and that you can move the cards around like a puzzle. You really have to think about it.

Now please imagine this setting:

Megatron/Optimus Prime playing with French cards is already a funny image, but them frying their processors for different reasons is even funnier.

I imagine Megatron trying to count the cards and guess what Optimus has and never laying anything on the table because "no that would help him!" Clearly NOT getting the spirit of the game.

Optimus having the shittiest cards imaginable and being unable to do anything because the game REQUIRES both players to lay the cards on the table but Megatron apparently doesn't want to amd je can't do shit.

When Megatron finally starts playing as he should they're both left with just a couple of cards and they are trying to find the perfect combination to get rid of them and win... but the cards that they need haven't been picked yet or worse they both have the cards that they need to win.

So yeah miserable time, but ooooh so entertaining!
