Today was a great day for a hot cup of tea and warm bowl of soup! What is your favorite tea and soup? Let me know in the comments 🌱☕️ My favorite tea is Pu er tea an aged green tea that is great for digestion and tastes really smooth! Lately I have been making veggie soups in the instant pot and they have been coming out amazing! I add some mushrooms, onions, and garlic sauté them first and then add radishes, potatoes, carrots, celery, cabbage, kale, parsley, thyme, kelp, dulse or whatever I have available. I usually add some Reishi or other chinese herbs like astragalus or foti root. These help to build blood and strengthen the immune system. Lately I have been adding burdock root which detoxes heavy metals and cleanses the liver. These days the more things we can do to nourish our bodies will help to feed our souls during these unprecedented times! What things have you been doing to nourish yourself?
