The Beginning of my Psychpreneur Journey

GEE 16 or the Entrepreneurial Mind subject has interesting topics or lessons to talk about. As a psych student, it is also important for me to be able to learn about entrepreneurship and things like that. Entrepreneurship improves and challenges people’s creativity. Many of the successful people are entrepreneurs, they are also called the backbone of the economy, and I think that studying this subject is fun and fulfilling.

In the first week of the discussion, I have already learned a lot of things. There are different types of entrepreneurship, and I’ve learned what are some of the top companies and have heard about the Silicon Valley, which is said to be the home to dozens of major technology, software, and internet companies. My learnings from the discussions are not only limited to the types of entrepreneurship, logo brands, definitions, and so on, but I have also learned some other important lessons. These lessons will help me as I start my journey in this subject, and maybe, one day when I become an entrepreneur or start to become one.

Why does a psych student like me have to study entrepreneurship? Well, at any moment, life can shift from this to this. In the future, I can still choose a career in the field of entrepreneurship. I can be a successful woman in the field of psychology, and still, be good or excellent in the world of entrepreneurship. There is a big chance that someday, I will be working in a corporate or in different companies, and my knowledge from this subject will surely help me to do well and to develop my potential. Starting a business is not an easy journey, the journey to success isn’t linear, there are many setbacks, challenges, and imperfections. To become a successful entrepreneur, one must learn to take a risk, to be resourceful, collaborative, and creative. One must build an attitude that can stand in the world of entrepreneurship and that stands against all trials that may come across its journey.

Entrepreneurs do not only change their lives, but also the lives of others, and they have impacted the world around them. Some of the ventures that impacted the world on the way we live and work are Pinterest, Facebook, Grab, and so on. It is undeniable that these ventures are truly game-changer. Entrepreneurs, creative individuals, and good people are truly game-changers. Furthermore, there is a lot of information that I have learned from the discussions. Aside from the lessons I have mentioned above, I have also learned what is the idea generation process, which is a four-step process that can develop an idea for a product. I have also encountered the coffee joulies case study, when I heard about that case study, I was amazed by it, and I even become more excited about what this subject could offer.
