i went into my first (major) psychotic episode last year causing hospitalisation. since then, my doctors have been going back and forth between diagnoses and evaluations, including schizophrenia.
i just wanted to say that your blog is a small but major influence on me and my outlook on whatever diagnoses i might receive or not receive. psychosis, schizophrenia, or any other schizospec disorder is not a death sentence. it’s simply a different way to experience the world. your blog has really helped me understand that and absorb it into my regular life
anyways, i just wanted to say thank u and ur blog does make a difference :-)
first off I am so happy that this has helped you. this is exactly why I began making these posts years ago so to hear that it's actually helping someone is extremely fulfilling to me. second, this journey with mental health and psychosis issues can be rough but can also be very beautiful. i do wish you all the best! : )
