I updated part of my rules, the part in regards to shipping, because I feel like I've become a little more open and flexible when it comes to shipping than I was when I first made this blog. So, here's a quick summary of the updated portion of my rules:
I’m kind of selective when it comes to shipping, not as much as I used to be. I used to ship her strictly with Remy LeBeau/Gambit, but I've become quite a bit more flexible with shipping. That said, my three main ship biases for her are Remy LeBeau, Bucky Barnes, and John Walker. But, anyone is always welcome to ask me to ship. I'm not going to get upset if you message me and ask me to ship; the worst I can do is say no, but I promise, if I do, I'll do it in a nice way. But, you never know, I may be down for it.

for starters:
be self indulgent! be so so incredibly self indulgent, be selfish with your works. write for yourself, draw for yourself. i know thats easier said than done and believe me i am still learning to be like that, but i promise its so *so* worth it because guess what? being self indulgent is fun, doing things for yourself is so *so* fun!!
like was said in that post probably, do aus, play with your favourites, add new tropes, add the most abstract things to whatever youre creating!! who cares if what youve did was did multiple times, who cares if its the same thing over and over, its NEW because guess what *you* made it and thats awesome :]
selfshipping is really cool and fun! like this entire post is on about, its for you and you should enjoy yourself, you should have fun! its ok if you dont write fics, its ok if you dont draw things for it, its ok if you dont do anything inside the community and are keep it hidden. whatever you do, thats so rad and your f/o loves and adores you w/e you do to show your love for them!
reminder: be easy on yourself. let yourself enjoy things, let yourself enjoy the process, let yourself explore. you should be gentle. never doubt yourself, do things you love, be self indulgent and have fun with it. whether you want to show it off to the world or not; its for you.

hello i’m danny ( they/them pronouns ) and here are my rules & about for lev ! a few important things to know off the bat:Â
i am a trans-masculine person myself, so while i cannot speak with authority about all trans people, i will be basing my lev off of my own experiences and feelings !
this blog will be iconless ( for now ) so i can focus on characterization instead !
i want to focus on lev’s trauma as much as his recovery, his healing, and his joy. he is grieving, he is hurt, yes, but i refuse to perpetuate the tragic trans trope that paints him as solely a victim of hatred and violence. he has agency. he has power. i want to return those things to him !
lev does not have access to this language to describe himself during canon, but he is without a doubt a transgender man. transition is a difficult concept to fully unravel, but he is living full time as a boy and dresses in a way that makes him feel masculine. he is as transitioned as he needs to be for a young boy in the apocalypse. surgery or medication will not him any more or less trans !

PSA ! for a long time i wasn’t sure how to say it or if i wanted to come out and say it on here at all. then i remembered this is my safe-space. and well, i was also a little nervous because they didn’t test me, but isolated me right off the bat after a high priority video consultation, from my family and the like. and it feels very much the same hell as i imagine others going through now. in short: i’m treated as an infectious case. and it’s hard, but thanks to a great network around me, it’s not unmanageable. however, if you need someone to talk to because social distancing is harder than imagined , or if you’re infected too and you need someone to talk to. i am here for you. look for my discord in the next post !!Â
