I’ve always wanted to do it in comic form. (Wanted to do more comic projects first to get a bit more experience before possibly jumping onto it. Because I wanted to make it a big personal project similar to Demonic, just far less porn and putting in the effort to actually to make something decent by my own standards. Putting in the work and polishing those rough edges you know? Felt it was a tad too ambitious for no reason though.)But as I’ve come to realize for a while now. It’s probably better getting it out of my system and putting it out there for my own amusement in doodles/whatever else comes from it instead of continuing to sit on everything like I have for months now.Honestly, given my position and neck deep in other things like commissions. Feels like I’ll be using anything related to Smolder’s story/world as a scapegoat to scratch my creative itch as an artist than actually turn it into something like a comic project. So doodles sound pretty ideal.

If magic is the official thing in this world. (still undecided)It would be a thing everyone has in a small capacity but can be trained to increase their capacity/usage of magic as they continue to use it.However, they can cheat and give their magic a massive boost using the materials from dragons. (scales,horns,teeth,blood,bones and etc)(this is where my problem comes from between keeping it technical or making it magical.)Dragon’s are pretty powerful beings. Not just only for their size or strength but because their magic is far more potent than your average human that increases even more with their Age. (average lifespan of a dragon is 200-300 years)An adult who’s studied magic for 10+ years who can conjure a fireball the size of a melon would ultimately lose to a young dragon that could easily conjure a fireball the size of a house.

That…I’m still uncertain and on the fence about.I still haven’t thought out more on how big of an impact of making the world and it’s dragons magic based or something more technical.(Originally, She was meant to fuel her own fires/the glow would be her storing fuel when she would need it. Holding in her fumes that would instantaneously combust upon coming into contact with air.)
