A āprototype DS,ā the homemade hodgepodge of a dev kit used by Alpha Dream to work on Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time before the official Nintendo DS hardware was settled on. Itās a mix of a GBA, a GBA SP and SNES-like gamepad. At the time, the devs didnāt know the full capabilities of the system other than it having two screens and four face buttons, hence why the game itself had only one moment you ever used the touchscreen.Ā

These are various stages of prototype renders for a contractor. Working collaboratively with another person I was jointly tasked with modeling from āAs builtā CAD files, as well as lighting and materials. The materials and lighting were intended to remain simple to keep on budget and on a reasonable time frame. Permission to post these was given by the contractor as the project is ongoing.

Week of December 13
This week I scheduled my last meeting with Isabel for finalization of my projects before our final critique on the following Monday.Ā Update: I found pastel paper at a Staples location dt Toronto. Yay!!
Feedback:
- sizing of the book finally feels right, margins are visible and content feels tight in its position
- great use of header to differentiate and create hierarchy, add headers to introduce sections
- have the complete title for cover inside the two bars as thereās an illusion with the word āprisonā and align tagline underneath for structure Ā
Extent body width and height to be the same as other pages.
Adjust leading in lower body as there is a bit of a gap because of the descendingĀ āpā inĀ āimportantā
Having it as a card front and back on cardstock (printing mistake turned into a good idea)
Official colours being used. Since the pack only came with five colours, isabel suggested I use the orange and purple from the previous astrobrights pack, and then add white for the remaining three disorders.
Remove outlines and use crop marks to make it look clean and cutting more easier.
