Peanut Butter Banana Power Shake
This recipe packs about 25–30 grams of protein using real, nutrient-dense ingredients.
1 cup (250 ml) Whole milk (or soy milk for extra plant-based protein)
½ cup (120 g) Plain Greek yogurt (adds a creamy texture and a major protein boost)
2 tablespoons (32 g) Natural peanut butter (or almond butter)
1 medium Ripe banana (fresh or frozen for thickness)
2 tablespoons (20 g) Rolled oats (blends smoothly and adds complex carbohydrates and fiber)
1 tablespoon Chia seeds or hemp seeds (packed with plant-based protein and healthy fats)
A pinch of ground cinnamon or a dash of vanilla extract (optional, for flavor)
1. Add Liquids First: Pour the milk into the blender first to help the blades spin smoothly and prevent ingredients from sticking to the bottom.
2. Add Soft Ingredients: Scoop in the Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and add the banana.
3. Add Dry & Seeds: Toss in the rolled oats along with the chia or hemp seeds.
4. Blend: Start on a low speed and gradually increase to high. Blend for 45 to 60 seconds until completely smooth and creamy. If it is too thick, splash in a little more milk.
5. Serve: Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
Protein Sources: Greek yogurt, milk, peanut butter, oats, and hemp/chia seeds work together to supply all essential amino acids.
Energy & Recovery: The combination of natural complex carbs from the banana and oats with healthy fats and protein makes this an ideal post-workout recovery drink or a filling meal replacement.
