UNREAL AMAZON β Nature's Most Dangerous Paradise | Full Documentary
Discover the Amazon like never before β from deadly jaguars and giant anacondas to tiny, lethal poison dart frogs. Explore its unique wildlife, ancient ecosystems, and why protecting this rainforest is more urgent than ever.
If you've ever visited a national park, you know how precious, unique and magnificent that land is.
From coast to coast of this great nation, national parks give us a chance to witness and experience wildlife and nature as it should be, without oil wells, mines, destruction and human encroachment.
It's unacceptable for the current administration to defund and/or slash the important work the NPS is doing. It's a disgrace to the human race to destroy and pillage all this goodness.
Here are a few images from national parks that may never be seen again if this budget goes through.

πThis World Environment Day: A simple truth.
We don't own the Earth.
We're part of it.
Let's cherish, protect, and coexist. π
How does polluted air make Earth warmer?
Air pollution is a major contributor to the damage to the air we breathe. It also plays a major role in warming the Earth. When air is polluted, it often contains harmful gases and small particles emitted by vehicles π, factories π, coal, oil, and the burning of forests π₯.
Many of these pollutants are called greenhouse gases. Important examples are carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide. These gases accumulate in the atmosphere around our planet. Normally, sunlight βοΈ reaches the Earth and heats its surface. After the surface is heated, some of that heat is released back into space.
However, greenhouse gases act as a blanket around the Earth π. They trap some of the heat that would normally escape. As more polluted air fills the atmosphere, the blanket thickens. This traps more heat in the atmosphere, causing the planet's temperature to gradually rise. This process is called global warming.
The main cause of this increase in greenhouse gases is human activity. Cars, planes βοΈ, power plants β‘ and industrial activities burn large amounts of fossil fuels. These activities release large amounts of carbon dioxide into the air. Deforestation also contributes to this problem because trees π³ normally absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
As the Earth warms, many environmental changes occur. The ice on the polar regions and glaciers begins to melt π§. Sea levels rise π, which can threaten coastal areas. The nature of the weather also changes, causing stronger storms βοΈ, heat waves π‘οΈ and droughts in some parts of the world.
This is why air pollution affects the climate and living things. Clean energy π, public transport π, planting more trees π± and reducing pollution by saving electricity can help slow global warming and protect the planet for future generations. ππ
