This place had an odd smell to it. The scent of hot oil had enticed him at first, but the closer he came to the source, the more acrid the stench became. It was old oil, faintly mingled with the trash collecting behind the building, but someone was certainly frying something. Strange letters in red marked a bright yellow sign above the entrance, where glass doors allowed Otakemaru to see into what seemed to be some sort of restaurant. Cautiously, he approached, but his eyes caught something vibrantly blue and out of place nearby (but what could he really say about âout of place.â So far nothing seemed to be in place at all here), and he redirected to speak to her instead.
âSmells like somethingâs cooking. This place have food?â he asked her, gesturing a thumb toward the building (the Dennyâs, but he couldnât read human writing, nor did he especially care to). More importantly, who did it serve? The last thing he wanted was to be chased out by horrified humans.
