Cookies and Cuddles
@flufftober
Prompt: Pillows, plushies, and piles of blankets
Fandom: The Guild Codex: Demonized
Pairing: Robin Page x Zylas et Vh'alyir
~
One thing an illegal demon contractor never expects when she walks into the living room after baking cookies for her demon, is to find him sprawled out all over a pile of pillows on the living room floor.
Zylas' head barely lolled over in her direction so he could look at her with his glowing red eyes.
"...Comfortable?"
He gave a single nod before turning his head back.
"Cookies are done by the way."
He nodded again. She raised an eyebrow. This was unusual. Was he sick? No, demons didn't get sick. It had been pretty cold recently. Perhaps he was feeling weak?
She peeked over. Socks was curled up on his stomach. She stiffled a giggle with her hand. The classic blunder.
"You want me to bring you the cookies?"
Another single nod.
Smiling to herself, she headed to the kitchen to plate the fresh-baked cookies. She carried them back out into the living room, still smiling. However, just as she was about to set the plate on the pillows near him, Zylas grabbed her by the arm and tugged her into the pillow pile.
"Zylas!" she hissed. "I could've spilled cookies everywhere."
"But you did not."
She pursed her lips at him. He reached out and grabbed a cookie, looking her directly in the eyes as he ate it. Not defiantly, just, indifferently. The eyes' equivalent of a shrug. Much like Socks' opening her eyes, only to tuck her head back under.
She rolled her eyes at him and leaned back with the plate in hand.
"I suppose I might as well get comfortable too then."
"Yes." He said decisively, already grabbing another cookie. She put the plate aside, getting one for herself, before something else in the pillow pile caught her eye. She picked up a small teddy bear, turning it over. It looked kind of familiar.
"Robin! All my-" Amalia came into the living room, only to pause at the doorway. "You took my pillows!"
"You did not guard them adequately."
Pink Camellias
Fictober 2025 - fanfiction (Bungou Stray Dogs)
Prompt #16 ("I will never forget this.")
Pairing: Fukumori
Tags/Triggers: None
A moment in time where Fukuzawa puts up flowers for the first time.
———————————————————————————————
It was one of those days. Natsume-san was still insisting on this alliance with the doctor. Ugh… It was annoying to see his face at all. Fukuzawa was currently in this little flat he had rented out, dingy and smelling of wood and wall. Ranpo had visited many times, this was his ‘home’ since he had nowhere else to go. Two mattresses touching either wall, a barely functional desk for Ranpo, held together by duct tape, hopes and dreams. It wasn’t much, considering how Fukuzawa made during the war and… Nevermind. But it worked for the two of them and that was enough. If this little flat, monotone and gray, built on hopes for the future and standing most likely by fairy dust was what Ranpo was comfortable with, Fukuzawa wouldn’t mind. Not that he would mind much from Ranpo anyways.
Very sparingly would things arrive by mail. Usually letters through the mail flap thing Fukuzawa never thought he would need to learn the name of. Almost never a box at their front door. Well, really, it was just this time.
Fukuzawa stared at the box on the ground, a little smushed and definitely at least a bit damp.
When he brought it inside, cardboard ripped at certain places, he found a bouquet of camellias.
‘This is stupid’ Fukuzawa thinks and he opens the letter inside.
Stupid looping letters in a pretty, pretty font greet him, not the scribbling that doctor’s handwriting usually is. A playful taunt, not so unlike the words that leave that stupid doctor’s mouth, that Fukuzawa can hear him speaking, as if the soul of his begrudging partner were whispering directly in his ear.
Fukuzawa contemplates throwing everything out. But the colour wouldn’t hurt the atmosphere and Ranpo would appreciate the pretty pink the camellias were. He puts them in a vase, empty and cold, with a bit of water, even if the flowers will eventually die out.
This moment was so small, so insignificant to this current Fukuzawa, that he thought that he wouldn’t remember it after a while.
But even as the flowers had already wilted, vibrant pink turning gray and falling before the next tenant had moved in, fate had already played its hand.
It was like it drilled the thought in Fukuzawa’s brain “I will never forget this.”
And he wouldn’t, not for as long as he would still see those camellias in the vase, in his new garden, as the paper seal of a letter sent to him was of a similar if not the same shade of vibrant but soft to the eyes pink. Not for as long as he still had to face the doctor’s loopy handwriting and anything that reminded him of the pink flowers in the sea of monotonous gray.

Yay! Not too bad lol.
#16: It's in the Name
Prompt: Brew // Shev Mhalikh (featuring @sword-and-surfboard's Aeluan // Words: 518
Shev and Aeluan sat across from each other at a small table in the Drowning Wench. Both of them held tankards that had just been delivered, and they were chatting away about recent happenings in their lives. Shev had just been teasing Aeluan about his conundrum with his two (two!) love interests when the tankards had come to the table.
“Didn’t catch what flavor ‘a milk ya got this time,” he said, motioning to Aeluan’s own tankard, which looked way too dark to be milk at all. It was a known fact that Aeluan never ordered alcohol at a bar, though if you asked Shev, it’d certainly lighten the big boy up some to have a drink once in a while. He’d never seen Aeluan truly drunk, though, so he didn’t know if it really was that he didn’t like having a looser control of his faculties, or if he was trying not to turn into a mean or embarrassing sort of drunk.

"What's your favorite place?"
"You."
"That's so cheesy."
"You're giggling and kicking your feet, so I think I'm doing something right."
Shrek crossover with Prussia as donkey, Spain as puss in boots, and, surprise surprise, England as Shrek but it's only the eyebrows that change into green mossy hairs all over. Fiona is France who's quite hairy himself and finds love in a hairy Englishman. Go nuts, make it funny! (Sequels with babies America and Canada would be cute)

Rating - Teen & Up
Warnings - None
Extra - Elisa on her cycle, the reminder that apparently women in current time having cycles more frequently apparently shows were healthier than back then, Goliath yoinks a chocolate, short
“Well, you definitely made my night better.” Elisa greeted him with a thin smile. Goliath was concerned at that. “What has-” The gargoyle cut himself off at scent change coming from his love.
Goliath leaned closer to Elisa and sniffed her a bit, he could smell a tinge of copper around her but not in one that would put him in panic like when Broadway accidentally shot her with her gun when playing with it, he was sure the princess experienced this before at least two or three times. He blinked in realization, “You are menstruating.” He said sounding like he was confirming something.
Elisa blinked in surprise at that, “You got that from my smell?” She asked him incredulously. “I have experienced this with the princess at least two or three times in my time around her before the curse.” He explained simply to her.
