molar outis specifically mirrors pre-library olga, i.e. olga who hasn't gone on the warp train yet.

as we know from the dimension shredder EGO and the w corp id, warp trains tend to represent outis' odyssey (thousands of years away from home, a derailed voyage, etcetc). molar outis, on the other hand, has yet to step foot on the train. in fact, since she was released with a rain id (olga's brother), she's essentially "still with her family."

thus, shes ooc because she's an outis hasn't seen "war" yet.

it's also why molar outis is so important to outis' character. what was outis like before the smoke war? we don't know, but molar outis gives us a few ideas: competent but reckless and hedonistic, accomplished but not particularly ambitious, authoritative but not enough to inspire confidence. also, prone to grumbling things like "you have no idea how much i do for you..." how did someone like that become like the outis we know today? exactly how bad was the smoke war?

while not everything gets translated over 1-1, the fact that molar outis is so ooc is the fun part. what we should be asking is why, not why not.
