The German word is: "Lachen"
We also have some other words for laughter.
Laughing fit = "Lachflash"
Giggles = "Kichern"
Snorting = "Grunzen"
Wheezing = "Keuchen" (It has so many words in german now but I found that the most flattering nowđđđ)
Squeal = "Quietschen" (it has so many different meanings in german but that is also the german word for squealing)
