Splattercat has come across the forg game!
Project Silverfish is a good videogame
Tank Information 12th Armoured Division, 12th Armoured Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Company (Heavy), 2nd Platoon, Tank 1, Tactical number 12-122
Jackal Cavalry Tank, 90mm Main Gun, 1x 30-06 Co-axial Machine gun, 1x 30-06 Pintle mount Machine gun
"When development of the Leopard Main battle tank had reached completion, the Older Jackal Chassis had only been in service as the primary East Carcosan tank for a short 6 Years. With around 350 Hulls produced, the Jackal proved to be outdated soon after the first chassis rolled off the production line. While a quick tank, it's 90mm Main gun proved ineffective against the latest NFTA Armor from the front. It was by recommendation of Colonel-General Clingan Jo'stitsija that the Jackal was sent to replace aging light tanks within the Recon Corps of the Army. As Advances to the Leapord were developed, many would also be transfered to the Jackal, including Passive night vision and the "Shimmer" Thermal Viewer, Coincidence finders, aswell as a HEATFS Shell. Most of these upgrade packages were handed out peacemeal as additional and extra components were available. The Jackal 1A1A3 would be the latest model by the Mid Summer Conflict of PT 73, featuring the Latest Thermal Viewer, Anomoly detection equipment, improved long range radios, 2 Plane stabilization, and a Coincidence Range Finder."
"The 90mm L40 Main gun was always the sticking point of the Jackal. The Initial APDS round proved of marginal effectiveness against contemporary armor, Eventually suplimented with a more effective HEATFS Round, capable of frontal defeat of older Tank models. In practice, only a third of the tanks 53 round ammo load would be Anti-tank, the rest would mainly be the KE 41 HE shell, and a small number of the KS 36 Canister Round. With HEAT shells becoming more common, the KS36 would be phased out and larger numbers of HEAT would be carried compared to HE."
Notable Formations of the Carcosan Civil War, The Armored Reconnaissance Battalion. The Result of East Carcosan doctrines regarding fighting for information and aggressive scouting, the Reconnaissance Battalion is a Divisional Level Asset, Found in the Eastern Carcosan Armored, Armored Rifles, and Mountain Divisions.
Under Eastern Carcosan Combat Doctrine, the Reconnaissance force must be capable to defeat enemy screening formations and deny enemy recon forces the same. As such the Armored Recon Battalion, or the PAB, is split into 5 Companies, 2 Heavy companies who operate Leopard 1A5PA Main battle tanks or in reserve Battalions the Jackel 1A1A3 Cavalry Tank, 2 Light companies transported in Wheeled APCs or PSV Infantry Fighting vehicles, and 1 Radar Company, with Wheeled APCs mounting a mix of Sensor and Ground search Radar Equipment.
In standard operations the PAB is split into smaller company teams and spread through out the divisional area of operations, providing support to the Conventional Infantry and armored forces. In peace times the PAB assists Divisional security forces and acts as a ready QRF, especially on the boarder with West Carcosa.

me throwing pipe bombs at the nfta vtol after pulling daggers from my tarot deck:

I've been trying a bunch of Steam Next Fest demos and I must crown three kings:

I've had my eye on Mohrta for a while and it does not disappoint. A little bit of collision jank and some performance quibbles, but great levels, satisfying gunplay and very intriguing setting. The sound design deserves special mention, it really sells the weird worlds you're traipsing through.
Slash, kick and magick your way through an adventure brimming with secrets and curious encounters! HARK THE GHOUL offers a meticulously hand
HARK THE GHOUL has the chonky graphics I crave, and is also a fantastically weird setting that is very compelling. I find King's Field type games usually a bit on the simplistic side mechanically, but with the kick and the various items/weapon types, this one spices thing up and I want to see where it goes.
A puzzle game starring mischievous fairies. Complete levels by working as a team, operating dangerous machinery and manipulating local wildl
Poke ALL Toads is a decent puzzler and I enjoyed solving how to avoid retribution while annoying all amphibians, but what really got me was the wonderful animation work. Just peak charm on every frame that had me failing on purpose so I could see every animated interaction of this smug little pest of a fairy (gave me that Battle Chess nostalgia, but better because toad-based puzzling).
Not quite a king, but Project Silverfish gets honorary Baron status:

It's got very good atmosphere and I think it's shaping up great but I feel like it's missing a *something* to really take off, just not sure what (it could just be a polish thing, this is apparently quite the early build). Keeping an eye on it though, it's got the potential for kingliness.
Wish this was multiplayer but enjoy our Project Silverfish shenanigans
