This was the penultimate episode? Ugh, I thought we were getting 25 or something. Show really needed more time to let its main plot develop in between very good and silly side stories.

I like that this whole Supreme Being Gavan system thing is bullshit. I like that it very obviously doesn't work and can't stop people like Death Gavan from doing horrible interdimensional crime.

I gotta say also...this show has more Women Doing Things In Action Sequences than most other toku, and that rules. A woman got to smash another woman's face through a table and bloody her up! That's good television!

I have never seen a show get so hard carried by the villain. Gavan Infinity is like a 5-6/10 the vast majority of the time, utterly fine television. But the MOMENT the main villain is in the show, it bumps it up to like an 8, and the moment he leaves, it begins stumbling around and falling back down again. Genuinely crazy how much he elevates every single part of the show, and it hurts so bad that, for so much of it, it was so really episodic with him popping up like 4 times. A more serialised Gavan Infinity with actual focus and more Death Gavan would have been amazing!
