Trying to figure out an efficient pipeline for coloring the comic. This turned out pretty nice, but took way too long and I have no idea how to replicate the results (at least quickly) for dozens of pages...

Crew: future plans and upcoming updates
I’ve finally taken the time to sort through all my projects and decide which ones I really want to move forward with - and which ones I’m ready to let go.
As a part of my honours project, I was recommended by the honours coordinator to keep a project journal and start a blog (which is why this blog exists!).
Here are some rough sketches of my “protagonist”, and here is the beginning of my honours journal:
Entry 1, 23rd February 2021:
(during intensive week at uni)
I’m starting my concept sketch for the protagonist. Feeling low energy. Today I’m working on my pitch (for uni). Later tonight I will hopefully work on developing some concept sketches. I’m taking inspiration from Yoshitaka Amano’s work.

It has been a while since my first project journal video. So here is an updated flip through. I have been using this method of tracking my projects for the past year or so. It is some what time intensive to set up a page, but it encourages me to put more thought into my projects, as well as document the process more. Plus, it is a fun creative outlet and makes for a nice keepsake. It also makes adding my projects to Ravelry a breeze.
Just made another update on my diorama! This time I made the hanging shelf, and also several props, mostly made from upcycled items (like broken earrings and paper clips, honestly).
For props, I made: a mirror, a working orrery, a gazing ball, another bird nest, and a reading light. Still need to do a lot more, though!

Bad aim, even at point-blank.
I've ditched coloring for now and gonna work on that later, or just get a pro to deal with that nightmare.
Colonial Peacekeepers [CoPe]
Trying to design a detailed gear that looks nice and that I can also draw over and over and over and over again is quite... something.
Slipping these in-world advertisements of everyday tech in the comic to dump lore and expositions. Their products/technology are kinda crucial for the story, but can't really be naturally explained in dialog so this is a nice little shortcut and good worldbuilding.
