Got the last of the scales on the arms down. I am sick of the smell of ShoeGoo.
It's bloody heavy. The dress dummy is groaning.
Thank god I made the foam shoulder padding or I'd be fucked. I deliberately made the shoulders extra wide because I knew to pass as stocky and Dwarf wide, I needed to go big. Guess I'll be working up the padding for the arms and some abs as well.
The scale patterns are as accurate as can be seen from tons of screen caps and promo material. Left over scales get attached to the huge leather belt he wears.
Because I am an obnoxious purist, it laces closed like proper (medieval) brigandine armour would. Though It's big enough I probably don't need to be laced in... Just hold up over head and let gravity work.
