Hi everyone HAPPY OCTOBER!!!!!,
Now we are getting into the autumnal months I start to use more burgundy and warm nude shaded palettes so I wanted to show you some of my favourite drugstore eyeshadow palettes for the season. Later this month Iโll be doing a highend version as well. As you can see the colour selection is quiet similar partly because Iโm obsessed with these autumnal tones but also they compliment blue eyes amazingly. So weโre going to be looking at 2 brands first off Lottie London (both eyeshadow palettes are ยฃ4.95 each) and the Profusion palettes (both were ยฃ9.00 each) which are both affordable drugstore styled brands so great for a budget.
First off we have the Lottie London palettes now at ยฃ4.95 these palettes are great if youโre getting into eyeshadow and donโt want to spend a lot or you want something that is the perfect travel size palette to throw in your makeup bag. Now as you can see I use two palettes. The first is a very soft nude toned palettes with lots of neutral colours and soft warm tones. I use this palette for daily looks when I want a soft glam and then the palette on the right is more a mixture of nudes and deeper plum shimmer tones which are very autumnal. Considering the price most people probably wouldnโt assume these palettes are as pigmented and gorgous as they are. The colours blend like a dream and the colour pay off is brill. The colour selection in the collection is great and there are other palettes which are more deeper shades and bright shade ranges as well if you like to have more brighter eye makeup.
Next up we have the Profusion palettes which are ยฃ9.00 each. These palettes are almost like bigger versions of the Lottie London palettes, on the left side the palette is more deeper tones focussing on the plum / burgundy shades with a few warm toned colours. The palette on the right is a mixture of deep and warm tones and features more nude toned shadows. These palettes are perfect if you want to be able to do a soft daytime look and then add some colour and transform to a glam evening look. I love the pigment in these palettes and I feel like Profusion as a brand is so underrated and yet their products are just insane so please check them out if youโre interested.
And there we have it my favourite drugstore autumn palettes, these are my favourite autumnal palettes to use so I hope it was interesting to get some autumn inspiration for looks you want to do or palettes to check out. Over the next month I want to do more posts like these and then post some after looks to get some ideas on makeup looks you can do. If you have any suggestions for things youโd like to read on this blog Iโm always open to suggestions.
