Most of what made the Reverie Hotel interesting was not the hotel itself but rather, the Dream Pools that served as the gateway to the Sweet Dream. Reverie Hotel was MAGNIFICENTㅤ—ㅤbut certainly not the grand centerpiece of Penacony.

˚ʚ ☾ ɞ˚ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤㅤ❛ㅤWell, The Family puts the most emphasis on the Sweet Dreamㅤ—ㅤbut I guess there's SOME interesting things in the Reverie ! There's the VIP Lounge and the bar. The banquet hall is usually used for parties but I guess I can show you that ! We also have some other commodities like libraries, small gift shops, indoor pools, and other things of that sort. Other than that, it's just storage rooms, utility rooms, and break rooms !ㅤ❜

˚ʚ ☾ ɞ˚ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤㅤMost of those features didn't get much traffic however. Everyone was far too eager to reach the other side of Penacony than to dwell in the Reverie for too long. If Miss March 7th wanted to explore the area though, than he would be happy to guide her. She just couldn't go into the off - limits areas like the storages or the utilities without him getting PERMISSION.

     “ why bother? it’s not important. ” felix doesn’t often ease his harshness, but annette is a bit of a unique circumstance. he so often lashes out, all cutting words and venomous barbs, but when it comes to annette, it’s somehow easier just to speak instead of snap. she avoids triggering his grieving bitterness in a way that no one else has managed to figure out and he’s grateful for it, albeit silently.

but that doesn’t mean he’ll smile simply because she asks him to. felix is nothing if not honest and he’d rather spit blood than put on a false face. to smile, there needs to be happiness...and felix hasn’t felt truly happy in a long time.

     Blood stains her lips as he hovers above her. The space between them displays the gap in power. If she can not defeat him, she fears for her family. She will not answer his question; better her than them. Kanae will not offer insight as to where he may claw next. Another demon who will never be a friend. He seems like someone who never had friends, even as a human.

     The raw pain within her chest makes it difficult to breathe, and she coughs and gasps for air. The sun will rise; she only needs to last until then. Kanae’s eyes look to Douma with pity. There are few demons she’s ever seen who look as broken as this one. However, her gazes hardens as doubt strikes her. Sorrow is not what breaks him. Friends would never enjoy a moment like this. A shame she will die never having known her dream’s fulfillment.

♛ — A time when mercy was requested but not provided

Almost immediately, he knew which story to tell. Just the thought of this particular prey twisted a furious knot in his stomach, and his grip on his microphone tightened ever so slightly. Sheer rage bubbled up within him upon recalling the memory, though it was nigh impossible to tell with the deadly grin that permanently remained on his face.

“Oh, most all of them have begged for mercy, even some of the loathsome sinners here in Hell! In fact—ha! There is one kill in particular that will stick with me for decades to come. Most wouldn’t believe it if you told them, but I do have a moral code of sorts, and there are some sins so heinous to me that I cannot overlook their perpetrators. This particular one was....personal to me, in a way. Do allow me to set the scene!”

A snap of his fingers, and a pair of shadows rose up on a nearby wall, a spotlight shining on them as if the two were little more than shadow puppets—and indeed they were, for Alastor. One resembled the infamous Radio Demon, and the other, his wretched victim. The click-click-click and whirring of an old- fashioned movie projector filled the space, and thus the tale began.

“He wasn’t the easiest to find, with only a name to go by at first, but I do have my resources and connections! I knew from the start that he was to die a final death, with no chance at returning to the afterlife by the time I was through with my work. I captured him, bound him so he couldn’t escape, and began my fun. The wonderful thing about having a denizen of Hell for prey is that they can’t actually die unless I take extra care to make sure they never return, so his death wasn’t permanent at first. Oh, I must have killed him....fifteen times, I think! I kept it achingly slow sometimes, and sometimes just a touch quicker, for variety of course!”
