In the spirit of beloved-but-far-away kin @eltainonasir... My #chronicillinmonday looked like... 1. Therapy 2. Yoga Experiment -hot yin yoga {super gentle, lots of bolsters/supports, heated room} in bougie hella white hood near to my place; wavering over the choice to walk up the 4 flights of stairs to get to the class in the first place or turn around and go home... So when I huff and puff up to the reception desk and comment on the mountain of stairs, ms white-blonde-lulu-wearing-massive-diamond-monroe-piercing receptionist chuckles and says 'ya that's our warmup' 😐 not a good start. But then I remember why I picked the class, partially because of the WOC 'having cancer changed my practice from being hard core to being healing' instructor. I press on. The class was pretty nice, instructor was lovely and patient and accommodating when I told her about the fibro. After, 2 slightly less irritating white receptionists asked how I liked the class and recommended I try another more gentle one...and then they tell me about the elevator that I can use if I call when I arrive and go through it separate door. 😀😐 and how its normally closed but they open it for the pregnant mummy's class. 😑 they even show me where it is! buuuut I guess its not 'open" 😒 so this is me walking down the four flights of stairs. #fibrolife #sixofone #yogagoodstairsbad #thisisworsethanthecommunityacupunctureplace #chronicpain #regretbuyingapass #probablywontgoback • • • [Video shows a pair of feet in brown leather boots and the turquoise tip of a silver sequined can slowly descending many beige linoleum stairs.
