Can we stop saying “medical condition” like it’s a forbidden or dirty word or something
“Oh transmeds think being trans is a medical condition!” Yes, dysphoria is a medical condition. It. Literally. Is.
The only one demonizing it is y’all who think that medical condition means horrible person
Y’all always bitching acting like we’re dehumanizing or some shit. It’s not dehumanizing to have a medical condition. You didn’t choose to have this medical condition. You are not horrible for having it. “Medical condition” isn’t a dirty phrase. It’s not an insult. If you say you support destigmatizing mental illness or medical conditions, but get angry here, you’re a hypocrite. It is 100% possible to say something is a medical condition and not have any ill intent behind it.
“Medical condition” isn’t an insult and shouldn’t be used as one
~ stop trying to demonize transmeds solely because you’re a hypocrite ~
