the queer rights movement is now a white supremacist and misogynistic high control cult. it started out great with the founders of the movement being Jews and black trans women but now those groups are completely excluded while their works get stolen and rewritten by some white masc 20 something who self infantilizes and then posts on the internet about how majority Black countries need western help to self govern/need 'rescuing' by white people, Jews being evil cartoon monsters, and trans women he doesn't like being pedophiles. some of the most heinous misogyny, transphobia, lesbophobia, and racism I have seen in my life has been from social justice "advocates" in this "queer movement" which began in the United States. From dictating Native gender identities to Native peoples, to labeling Black trans people as violent and dangerous, to telling me I am attracted to men but just "don't know it, everyone is a little bisexual", to harassment, to completely ignoring my Black friends and always addressing me first/only, to appropriating terms like "Turtle Island" without understanding the origin or that that term is *Anishinaabe* and other cultures have totally different concepts of North/Central America, to bothering POC in comment sections so everyone knows that YOU aren't a bad person, you read a basic book on their culture 3 years ago, to many many more examples. This is a high control white supremacist, antisemitic, anti-woman (you expect lesbians like me and trans women like my friends to basically be punching bags and house maids but always available to any non-woman who is attracted to us without complaint), anti-critical thinking, anti-respecting other cultures cult. that's it. Anyway, happy pride to my dear trans women, Black people, 2-Spirit people, non Western gender framework gender havers, lesbians, "straight-passing" people, trans men who don't fit narrow white standards of masculinity for whatever reason, Jewish people, Persian people, autistic people, academics, those who consider other people's feelings, people from polyamorous cultures who are erased by western "polyam" hegemony, problematic history enjoyers, unlabeled people past and present, and ofc everyone who wants to be included in this list but I forgot/didn't know to include you.
