✨NEGATIVE STRADDLE HANDSTAND DRILLS✨⠀ -⠀ #kianangyogatutorials⠀ -⠀ If you're working on your #presshandstand, it's important to work your negative, meaning going down from handstand.⠀ ⠀ Try these drills:⠀ ⠀ 1) Facing Wall - Jump up to straddle on wall at an appropriate distance so that your hips are stacked over your shoulders. Then, lean your shoulders forwards as you slowly press the feet down.⠀ ⠀ 2) Back To Wall - Jump or kick up handstand on wall. Sit hips to wall and then slowly lower feet to ground. Shoulders will come forwards slightly and hips will come off the wall. 🔥CORE WORKOUT FOR PRESS HANDSTAND🔥 - Working on your #presshandstand? Want to build #core strength? Maybe you’re working on #toetaps? Try out this superset to help build up your core and compression strength! 👇🏼 - REPEAT 3X: 1) 10X Blanket Slides - Start in plank. Keep shoulders over wrists the whole time as you pull your feet to your hands. Keep your legs straight! You can also do this with your feet on socks or a stability ball. 2) 10X Supine Toe Taps - On your back, bring your feet over your head to tap as close to your elbow as possible. Try to lift your spine off the ground as little as possible. While bringing the legs up, squeeze thighs towards belly (compression). On the way down, lower your legs to hover and keep low back grounded. Legs straight! 3) 10X V-Snaps - Start in high V or boat position. Lower to hover and lift back up.
