I always loved the raw emotion in this song. I will always be cringey and raw over pristine and fake. He was a part of my journey, but not the destination. But because of him, I was made aware of all of the things I hated about myself that were similar to him, so from there, I could work on them and heal myself. Take all the time you need to heal yourself, over and over again, every time; you deserve to heal. And do whatever it is that actually makes you heal. Fuck what anyone says. That’s why I made this song. It helped me heal, it served its purpose entirely 🤍 feel it all, like RLLY feel it all, and then allow yourself to LET IT GO, my darling dear, let.it.go. It’s the only way, forgiveness is the only way to free yourself 🙏🏻

It doesn’t hurt me anymore. All the pain lives here in this song now, and is no longer inside of me, and that, is a gift.
