For the Million Death Study, researchers are interviewing families that lost loved ones at an untimely age to look for explanations.

The National Academies recently reported on a study from the National Research Council and Institute of Medicine prompted by the National Institute of Health to understand why, despite being one of the wealthiest nations in the world, the United States is at a huge disadvantage in the realm of health.  Experts came together to study the topic, give insight into the root causes of this issue, and to make recommendations for improving health in America.  Click the link above to read a summary of the report.
