from an outside perspective they don’t act like a ‘proper’ pale pair, they’re slightly too antagonistic since elipse communicates in mostly trash talk, memes, and vicious sarcasm because he is an emotionally backwards hooligan.  he uses a lot of doublespeak ‘> don’t get stabbed too much.’ means ‘be careful.’ stuff like that.

i think both decided to keep their moirallegiance on the down low in public spaces. all their friends know but like elipse runs a true neutral back alley hospital and tria is a mutant(? i think?? or just like the lowest of the low on the hemospectrum??? to many reboots i get confused lmao) and community scapegoat and they’re both each other's weak spot, neither of them could stand it if the other got hurt because of them.  tria comes and goes at odd hours, entering thru windows and exiting thru the backdoor and elipse treats her like just another patient when others are present.  in private they are the cuddliest and touchiest, so much affection but they still shit talk each other because they’re both gremlins.

i could make a whole nother post on the elipse, triana, and ginoir triangle of awkward but once elipse gets over his initial distrust of ginoir (and she gets over her distrust of him lmao) he’s actually super supportive of their relationship atf first because she lends that good, good highblood cred and then because she is there to watch tria’s back when he can’t and at last because he actually does kind of like her.  he also likes messing with her.  she also probably gets sucked into their cuddle pile a lot too so she has to sit there with a weird boner while her gf and her gf’s bf get their platonic face touches on in her lap.

once they’re in the game tho they get pretty lax about public displays of affection like neither of them could give a shit what these chuckle fucks have to say (>lookin at you cephii.) but they’re still really private, you know that post going around about passing out earplugs at a wedding n telling the guests to mind their own business, that’s elipse but the wedding is actually like a game planning session and everyone is weirded out.  elipse also has a private joke where if someone says anything about him being a romantic or that he’s sweet or nice he will immediately say ‘> don’t tell tria’ even as he is flagrantly petting her hair in a public space.  because he’s a shit gremlin.
