Here are our prayer items for the week:

13 - Please pray that our Facebook account (http://facebook.com/beneaththetangles) will help our audience connect more deeply with Christ and continue our work of building God-centered community, and for WacOtaku as he leads the efforts.

14 - Pray that the Beneath the Tangles Tumblr (http://beneaththetangles.tumblr.com) will grow in followers and be a place where Christians and non-Christians alike will read and be impacted by our articles, and for @thathilomgirl as she leads it.

15 - Pray for our Instagram account (http://instagram.com/beneaththetangles) and for Twwk and Joseph as they lead it. May it be used as a tool to draw followers nearer to God.

16 - Request Day! Reply with your own prayer request and we’ll pray for it as a community.

17 - Pray for wisdom and strength for Mecahawk, Lenlenkai, and Twwk, the BtT Discord admins, as they seek to develop community and model Christ to the members, and for our mods, Archy and Joli—may they carry out their role with wisdom, compassion, and character.

18 - Pray for our editor, Dr. Steve. May God grant him wisdom, and may he be diligent as he molds our articles into excellent pieces that communicate God’s love through the writers’ analyses but also by demonstrating excellence in our craft.

19 - Our small group meets on Sundays. Pray that our members draw nearer to God, that those who aren’t saved do meet Christ and accept him as Lord and Savior, and that our members all find good local Christian communities to join.

7 - Season two of Something Genuine is now airing. Please pray for Red as he spends considerable time editing the videos, Twwk as he prepares and conducts interviews, and for an audience to find this series and be impacted by it—and that many may also connect to our ministry though it.

8 - We’re currently planning the next iteration of the Twitch stream. Please pray for wisdom and guidance as we develop out this key way of connecting with people and sharing faith.

9 - Pray for Mike and Dennis as they produce The Power of God and Anime. May this podcast engage listeners and encourage them to seek out and form relationships with Christ.

10 - Pray that as Beneath the Tangles staff members interact with followers, they participate in the work of raising disciples.

11 - Pray for the evangelistic mission of BtT—that our team members have opportunities to witness and share the gospel to the otaku community and that these conversations open doors for the Holy Spirit to convict hearts.

12 - Pray for our artists and content creators: for Whitney and Uvie as they draw art, Marg as she creates graphics, and Luke as he makes films shorts. May they engage people in the digital space and lead them one step closer to godly community and ultimately, you.

29 - Pray for our Discord server—may it be a community tied together by the love and truth of Christ, where Christians may flourish in their faith, non-Christians may feel welcome and served, and God is glorified, and friendships are meaningful.

30 - Pray for a favorite person in the anime industry. Pray for their good, especially that they may know God if they don’t and grow closer to Him if they do. You may be the only person praying for them.

1 - Our summer 2026 anime first impression posts have begun! Please pray that many will find our site through these posts, opening doors for us to love and minister to them.

2 - Our Anime Expo coverage is starting! Pray for safety, open doors, and divine appointments as T.R., Ryan (nyanroh32), and Joseph cover the convention for us.

3 - Pray for “Above Anime,” our twice-monthly newsletter. May the devotionals encourage readers in their faith, the newsletter help readers discover our pieces, and Hayley, Samuru, Nathan, M.H., and Myne to have wisdom as they write it.

4 - Pray that God will provide wisdom, strength, and grace to Mecahawk and Twwk as they oversee and lead the various Beneath the Tangles departments.

5 - Our small group meets on Sundays. Pray that it will be a time of learning, prayer, fellowship, and accountability for the attendees and leaders.

22 - Pray for our convention ministry. May God open doors for us to share the gospel, build relationships, and further our reach through interviews, networking, and content creation as conventions and events.

23 - Pray for our regular partners in prayer (you all!) and our regular givers. They are an incredible blessing on our ministry and their prayers and donations are multiplied by God many times over. Pray that they would have peace in their lives and would see God in any challenges they’re working through.

24 - Pray for wisdom and discernment for Mecahawk and Lenlenkai as they lead our small group, and for Jake in his role of our team builder and small group overseer.

25 - Pray for clarity and guidance for our staff as we share Christ.

26 - Pray that the Anime Ministry Network—a collaboration of digital missionaries reaching otaku—will find loving, effective, and engaging ways to work with one another to share Christ with anime fans.

27 - Many Christians find our site as they seek resources about anime. Pray that we’ll be able to support and encourage them to seek God more fully on their Christian walks.

28 - We want to envision big things, including a ministry that shakes down walls for Christ across the vast space of the anime fandom. Pray that fans will think of Jesus when they think of anime, and may BtT be used by God to make miraculous things happen in this sphere.
