It opens with the indescribable, incomparable softness of caramel and musk that the original Candy wraps around you. However, this cashmere-soft aroma lifts to drift around the body, while closer to the skin, a hypnotic, alluring accord mixes into that familiar scent, flower petals and dripping slices of fruit stirred into melting dark chocolate. That juiciness gives the fragrance a new complexity — and, through the comparison with the soft caramel, a seductive darkness. Finally, the powdery elegance of the original Candy emerges, but those violets bloom dripping with juice, entangled with drifting notes of patchouli, which gives that elegance a little hint of sharpness. And all throughout, the cashmere-caramel Candy-essence wraps itself around the body as a comforting, luxurious veil.
