An interrupted kiss by none other than my museâs pet // jukan n minhye
years ago the feeling of missing home was one that minhye did not expect to experience ever in her life. in fact, she was not the kind of person who would go around feeling the sorrow of the things that happened in her life and around her, she was used to fighting to overcome whatever the universe threw at her because that was her best coping mechanism. it was no use trying to figure out why that was probably her motto, as living each day a new comedy inspired by the tragedy of yesterday. but nothing was as much rewarding as taking that plane back to south korea with her newborn, she was much herself a new woman, one that saw the death in the eyes and said not today, champ. with a victory in her arms, a thriving new perspective in life, and the not so bad company of jukan. it was days now between waking up in the middle of the night, breastfeeding, tiresomeness, tried to look presentable for videos and all at once just being grateful for being in the place she knew she belonged. one with her dogs that she could call home. not once in new york she saw the beauty portrayed by her own vision waking up to the birds chipping â the green leaves of her backyard burying the vision of the new glowing sun of the other side of the world, the one she loved more than any other sun around. they were still slaves to the jet leg after almost a years spend in the united states that were probably something to expect from their new routine, but after sleeping so much in the hospital sick and then being pregnant, annoyed and completely tired locked up in an apartment â the last thing minhye wanted was to collapse into the old days. the best part of being back, despite everything else she already thanked for all the time, was the sleeping hazard next to her in her bed. jukan had a very weird sleeping habit of laying on his back and wasnât the type of person to sleep with his mouth open, so for most, it was almost like he was dead and waking up to someone who looked like they were in a coffin had become extremally alluring with time. throwing her weight on his belly and lying on top of him almost completely to wake him up, minhye was still trying to do the least kind of noise not to set up sunny still peacefully sleeping in the crip a few feet away. â she was still too attached to let her sleep in her own room. that was what jukan said, but she knew he was too just used to all their cuddling after their baby girl was born. hugging his body down her now, minhye used of her charms to keep cuddling, suddenly the waking him up with a million forced kisses all over his face. when he finally started protesting like he was used to, she just stopped to appreciate the view of his face all covered in debating whether or not he should push her away. â donât fight it, you knew what you were signing up to. â she whispered with a melodic still rusty voice, then throwing herself to kiss him on the lips a few more times. jukan could finally put a stop or just gave up to it, either the rest of the party came running into the room like a pack of wild wolves who found their favorite toy. raiden â the once puppy minhye adopted in new york to keep their company after months of being imprisoned, as she would call it â jumped in bed like he was the owner of the godamn house, interrupting the moment to steal all the attention to him and cuddle around jukan. no other way than stopping on the account, she began petting god morning to raiden in the bed while they were all still so close together. â hey, i was the one who took you in! if it were for him you would be still all alone in the horrible, horrible country. â she still shut her voice to the minimum careful of sunnyâs sleep, playing with her dog that was trying to bury himself in jukanâs face. being able to deal with all that amount of kids was not easy, but it was for sure one of her favorite things to do discover in life proving that their so-called home was yet to get the days even better and better â perhaps this was then the universal message of the destiny for her though, it wasnât nothing she couldnât handle after all.Â
