Break Me / Remake Me - Chapter 11: Shame

Spy being a fan of using flowers as gifts, usually the most intricate, expensive and perfectly picked bouquets.

Or even if it’s as subtle as a single rose. He’ll do it. He will do it to be a charming, suave asshole lol.

And now enter my Engiespy bullshit.

He starts leaving him and even gifting him flowers, whether he finds a single one or a case of flowers left in his workshop or the asshole turns up the charm and gives them to Engie himself.

Of course he likes it, who wouldn’t but then the issue arrived… what can he do in return? Sure the flowers are nice but it just AINT practical in his mind to give them to someone else. He dont know much about flowers like Spy clearly does. And as pretty as they are, flowers dont last. AINT that a shame. Something so pretty and gifted kindly thst dies not long after. Thst dont fly with mister practical.

So what does he do? He does what Engie does best. He builds something.

And one day after slaving over the damn thing trying to get it as perfect as he can and not have spy find out somehow cause thats the hardest part. He gofts him the most detailed metal made flower he could’ve mustered.

And of course at the back of his head he wonders if he made the right choice. Engie jsut had the idea, was stubborn enough to keep at it even though he was thinking if he should’ve made him somehting else or gone a direction thst Spy would’ve liked better than some metal flower. Yes he slaved away so much time and melted down so many failed attempts into scraps just to make this rivht and as perfect as he could’ve made it. But he doesn’t know if Spy would like it.

He just wanted to give him somethibg that would last but still as beautiful. At least he hopes so.

Does Spy like it? Well, who’s to say outwardly. He definitely doesn’t make it easy.

But at least I’d like to imagine that thing is put on display in his room and looked at so lovingly. Somethibg that can stay there as long as he wishes without it ever fading.
